Three Steps to EU Compliance

Step 1: Talk to Eldris. Open the Eldris agent and describe your situation in your own words. You do not need to know the regulatory terminology. Tell us what you sell, where you sell it, and what prompted you to look into compliance. Eldris identifies exactly which registrations you need.

Step 2: We handle compliance. Eldris collects your business details, product information, and target EU markets through conversation. For EU Responsible Person, we verify your documentation and generate your certificate. For cosmetics, we send your formulations to a qualified safety assessor. For WEEE, our team submits your registration applications to each national scheme.

Step 3: You receive your certificate or registration. Responsible Person certificate within 60 minutes of completing onboarding. Cosmetics compliance (CPSR, PIF, CPNP) in 5–10 working days. EPR registrations follow the lead time listed for each country; in Germany, packaging takes about 1 week.

EU Responsible Person

You tell Eldris about your products and target markets. We collect your company name, registration details, and product categories. You get your price (£195 per market, one-off, then from £19.95 a month) and pay through our secure checkout. Your certificate is issued within 60 minutes of completing onboarding.

Cosmetics Compliance

You provide your product formulations and details. Your quote is based on unique formulas (£195 each) and variations (£39.95 each). A qualified safety assessor reviews your formulations and produces the CPSR. We compile the PIF and, when Eldris is your Responsible Person, file the CPNP notification (£99 per CPSR). The timeline is 5–10 working days because the human safety assessment cannot be rushed.

You choose your countries and products on epr.eldris.ai and the quote tool shows every line: from £185 per country per year, reporting included (Germany: packaging £185, WEEE £600, batteries £355 a year). You pay once a year per country, with no monthly fee.

The legal representative that sellers based outside the EU must name on their products before selling there, under the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR). The UK has its own product rules; Eldris covers the UK as an additional market. Certificate and label address issued in under 60 minutes.

EPR registration: packaging, WEEE and batteries

Registration with each country's producer register for packaging, electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and batteries, with the authorised representative and the annual reporting included. Extended producer responsibility (EPR) is the duty to register and pay for recycling in every country where you sell.

Who needs it: Sellers of packaged, electrical or battery-powered products in any of 29 countries: the 27 EU member states, Norway and the UK.
